Mosaic lends itself to the practice of art therapy - "to
break up and reunite"
 The
word "art" signifies that the work is orientated not
towards the technique alone but towards the idea of creation.
The course is orientated around the idea of therapy (or art
therapy). The objective is not the production of an object but
to look at the "other" and at oneself.
In this concept, the mosaicist-art-therapist is the outsider
who helps the individual to concretise those things which lack
structure. She takes in what the individual expresses, listening
to that which has never before been heard. She gives life to
the individual’s experiences, replacing them in the real
world. She is the outsider who facilitates the transition from
fantasy to reality.
